Today I thought I would share the turkey plates I have collected over the years. Generally, I am not a novelty tablescaper and don't do a Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, Fourth of July, etc. table and prefer something that speaks to the event of the day without shouting it. As you know, however, I have china hoarder syndrome, so when I am at a charity auction, estate sale, or shop and I come across a stack of 12 or more vintage or antique turkey plates in mint condition, my syndrome clicks in and I can't leave them there. Shocking to say, though, I did sell the turkey plates I purchased on sale at Pottery Barn as I really didn't like the heaviness of them being made of ceramic.

I would love to hear from you if you have found other patterns or if you also collected some of these.
I fill these glass turkeys from Williams Sonoma with small gifts for each guest.
I got this big metal guy from a catalog called AWE [At West End] not to be confused with West End. He is 24" tall and 21" wide.
These metal turkeys are placecard holders from Pottery Barn.
Hope you all are having a happy Thanksgiving!
