A totally delightful experience to see The Boys [29 and 25], Zach and Colton Swon perform within the famous wood floor circle at the Grand Ole Opry Saturday evening at their debut. They asked their parents, Kelly and Tammy Swon [talented musical performers in their own right] to join them in the circle as a Thank You for all they had done to help them get their careers to this place. The Boys were totally cute and sweet and humble as always. I look forward to watching them mature with their talent in future years. Colton, of course, has a ton of charm, but I would like to see Zach develop more stage presence which comes with training and experience. When Darryl Worley performs at the Grand Ole Opry, it is very noticeable that he not only owns the stage, he owns the whole building. A slender six foot six inches, he is a mighty presence. At 50 now, he has grey hair and not the hottie his website shows [photos about 25 years old]. He can still get a standing ovation with his Have You Forgotten song.
When they did Who's Going to Fill Their Shoes, a lady in the audience yelled out "You Are". Everybody agreed. The Swon Brothers definitely have a bright future in the music business. I'm so glad I got to witness this milestone that they will never forget.
