Back to my theme of daily Paris photos. The annual antique show at the Bastille was happening when I was in Paris so couldn't miss that. I was surprised to find that it was within walking distance of the apartment on Isle Saint Louis. Just had to walk down one of my favorite streets, Henri IV. It was a large show that took all day to see. I found this booth of aqua seltzer bottles striking as a grouping.
Why I didn't buy most of these and bring them back is a mystery to me when I see this photo. Guess I was just exhausted and didn't make a decision. I have a couple of the water bottles manufactured in Paris without the metal top. They sell for about $100 each. I like the aqua colored ones more than the bluer ones. I also like the etching of the logos into the glass and some are more valuable than others even though I select by the designs that appeal to my eye.
