I've been wrapped up for days enthralled with watching Downton Abbey on DVD.
Got the six-disc two-volume set at Costco Saturday and have spent hours watching them. Beautifully done. Love the history, clothes, romance, furniture and shots of the real house, Highclere. Highly recommend getting your own DVDs. I didn't watch it when it was on TV as I caught a couple shows well into the season and didn't know the characters so couldn't follow it. Good to start at the beginning and watch all the way through. So, of course, I am holding my breath waiting for Season 3 -- just like 9 million other viewers. Loved that Lady Cora Grantham had a lot of characteristics of my own Mom, also named Cora, born during World War I.
