Today's tablescape is a lunch using a big white pumpkin for the centerpiece.
My favorite pumpkins are the white ones. Well, they are actually more of a creme color. This one is sitting atop a white milk glass pedestal cake plate I got at an estate sale.
Along with the big white one, I have just scattered other pale colored ones in the center of the table. I'm sure you can tell this is not my most brilliant masterpiece [smile] but I wanted to show it anyway.
The salad plates are Wedgwood in the shape of a leaf. I'm sure you have seen these in green. I got this set of 12 plates at auction and it was someone's wedding present in 1961 still in its original box so it wasn't used. For flatware, I am using a mix of mother of pearl pieces, some found at Marburger Farm antique show. The iced tea spoon is a new Vietri piece. Soup spoon is Durgin Chrysanthemum. The fleur de lis pillow on the sofa in the back of the room is by Callisto Home.
This cute cherub was a consignment sale find in August.
These little votives from Dollar General for $2 with the maple leaves around the top are just wonderful. The glass is reflective.
The only color I'm using today with the white is a coral color in the dinner plates, napkins and votives. Napkins are the Martha Stewart label from Macy's. The antique fish fork and knife has a monogram which is unreadable on the composition handle.
Chargers are Niderviller, dinner plate is J. Seignolles. You can see the Wedgwood leaf plate a little better here. Soup bowls are Williams-Sonoma.
I'm using two clear stems of glassware. The tall one on the left I found at an estate sale so I don't know the maker or pattern. On the right is Edward by Williams-Sonoma.
I am posting two tablescapes this week, so if you would like, please look for my other one.
I am participating in Tablescape Thursday this week on the blog Between Naps on the Porch.
