I am a believer that you can find beauty everywhere you go. But you must take the time to stop and look. About two weeks ago, I was in Salina, Kansas on my way to dinner at Martinelli's Little Italy when I was stopped in my tracks by this fabulous garden nursery. It was one of those "WOW would you look at that" moments when you turn the car around for a closer look. Driving on 9th on the corner of Cloud I came upon Stutzman's Nursery. From their website, they have other locations in Kansas as well.

The sad thing about traveling is that when you are 600 miles from home you can't purchase plants. If I could have, I would have gone crazy buying everything in sight. How lucky the people of Kansas are to have this resource. I'm a gardener, but this is definitely at the professional level. I have never seen the combination of plant materials they use together in their containers. Just so amazing and they all look healthy, full and colorful in the heat of August! My plants at home are struggling in the heat.
So much to choose from.
Love how they used the painted wooden spools in their displays.
All the potting work has been done for you. Just take a few home.
If you are anywhere near one of their Kansas locations, do stop in.
Also, if you have time, visit this Art Deco theater while in Salina.
I understand this building has been restored.
There is a lot of fabulous detail work in the building's design.
